Recommended Climatic Conditions
To preserve the appearance and stability of the furniture, maintain a consistent indoor environment whenever possible. The recommended conditions are:
- Room temperature: approximately 20°C
- Relative humidity: 40–55%
Avoid sudden changes in temperature or humidity. Excessively dry air may cause the wood to contract, while high humidity may lead to expansion or deformation.
Furniture should not be positioned directly beside radiators, fireplaces, heating systems, air-conditioning outlets, or other sources of intense heat. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should also be avoided, as ultraviolet light may gradually alter the natural colour of the wood and affect the protective finish.
Everyday Use
Use coasters, placemats, or protective pads under hot objects, wet items, ceramics, and decorative accessories. Spilled liquids should be removed promptly to prevent moisture from penetrating the surface.
Avoid placing sharp, abrasive, or heavy objects directly on the tabletop. Do not drag objects across the surface, as this may cause scratches or damage to the protective coating.
Cleaning
For regular cleaning, use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain and dry the surface immediately after cleaning.
Do not use aggressive household chemicals, solvents, alcohol-based products, abrasive powders, scouring pads, or concentrated cleaning agents. These substances may cause discolouration, dullness, staining, or deterioration of the protective finish.
Furniture polishes, oils, waxes, and restoration products should only be used when specifically recommended for the original surface treatment.
